Valve’s Counter-Strike 2 is expected to have a plethora of cosmetic items available for players to customize their fighters and weapons. This information comes from dataminer Gabe Follower, who explored the upcoming game and shared his findings.
Currently, players of Counter-Strike Global Offensive have the option to purchase skins for their knives and various weapons, as well as customize the look of their fighters and gloves. However, it seems that Counter-Strike 2 will feature an even more extensive closet of fighters, with additional slots for customization.
According to Follower’s post on Twitter, the developers of Counter-Strike 2 are revisiting early concepts and ideas for the original game. In addition to “pet skins,” players can look forward to full body customization for agents. This will include items such as face masks, hats, glasses, pants, and boots.
It is important to note that the leaked CS:GO source code only mentioned the “CLOTHING_HANDS” slot. However, Counter-Strike 2 has as many as six “wearable items,” suggesting that there will be a wide variety of customization options available to players.
Fans of the franchise are eagerly anticipating the release of Counter-Strike 2, and the inclusion of such an extensive array of cosmetic items is sure to add to the excitement. With the ability to personalize their fighters and weapons, players can fully immerse themselves in the game and create a unique experience.
