Microsoft Offers Compensatory Measures for Call of Duty on PlayStation

General

Microsoft has presented compensatory measures to the Competition and Markets Authority, according to which the company undertakes to offer an identical version of the Activision shooter on all platforms. Owners of PS5 should not be afraid of poor quality Call of Duty.

Sony is concerned that after Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision Blizzard, the Call of Duty shooter will not be released in the expected quality on PlayStation consoles. The American corporation had to respond to this absurd statement with an original idea.

Microsoft confirmed that a specially appointed arbitrator will check the version of Call of Duty on all devices, and if the game for PlayStation 5 does not meet the expected quality, the release will be postponed.

The document includes a specific proposal for PlayStation – Microsoft will provide “Sony with equality in terms of release dates, content, features, updates, quality and playability” regarding the American corporation’s platform.

However, players on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 will lose additional bonuses that have been available on Sony devices for many years, such as early access to new skins.
