League of Legends players, rejoice! A new build for Yasuo has been discovered by avid players revolving around his E ability. Thanks to the recent buffs it received in Patch 13.7, players have discovered a new viable build that involves building Ability Power (AP) on the champion for excellent results.
Yasuo has always been a controversial champion, loved by those who play him, and hated by those who face him. His infinite dashes, high mobility, and great damage, coupled with his ability that negates all projectiles, makes him a force to be reckoned with.
It seems that Riot, the developer behind League of Legends, is also a big fan of Yasuo, as they recently gave him several buffs in Patch 13.7, which effectively brought him back into the limelight. Alongside increasing his shield amount in total and boosting his scaling towards the late game, Riot also made adjustments to the way his E ability works.
Yasuo’s E, Sweeping Blade, allows him to dash through an enemy once, with no cooldown, but instead an internal cooldown for each enemy he dashes through. The recent buffs made it possible for Yasuo’s E to stack damage up to 2 times, with a buff pushing the total stack damage to 4 times, and improved the damage profile to scale better while Yasuo is dashing through more targets, giving him a further buff to his late game.
The most exciting part of these buffs is that players have discovered the viability of building AP on Yasuo, which was previously unheard of. Yasuo traditionally builds critical strike chance and attack damage, which scales his auto-attacks to slice through enemies.
However, with the new buffs, Yasuo’s E now scales with AP, making it a viable build option for players.
